This story proves there is 'the force', and Obi-Wan Kenobi himself proves it.
I heard Alec Guinness himself tell this story on a TV interview.
Guinness said:
"I had just flown from London to Los Angeles. I hadn't slept, so I was very tired. But my friend that greeted me insisted on taking me to a
restaurant.
By chance I bumped into James Dean. He complimented my acting and then asked me to come outside for a moment. In the parking lot was a brand new sports car. 'What do you think?' Dean asked me.
I don't know why I said it and was surprised when I said it, but the words came out: 'Don't drive that car. If you do, you'll be dead in a week.'
Then the interviewer changed the subject. I wish he had continued to tell what James Dean's reaction was. However, we all know Dean's fate in less than a week.
Of course, Alec Guinness went on to teach us all about 'the force' in 'Star Wars', as well as 'predestination' in 'A Passage to India'.
