The “Nove Colli” cycling race, one of the most famous long-distance races in Italy and Europe that each year attracts numerous participants from all over the world, will take place on 22 May 2011. The race leaves from the canal harbour in Cesenatico, birthplace of Marco Pantani, and passes through some of the most beautiful cities in Romagna, covering a total distance of about 200 km. Those competing for victory include professionals, as well as simple cycling tourism enthusiasts.
