In On Her Majesty's Secret Service James Bond is trapped on the Piz Gloria mountain strong hold of Blofeld. He was captured and put in the wheel housing of the cable car. If he could climb up to where the cable is, he could grab it and escape. But 007 had not gloves to grip the freezing cable with.
Did he moan and cry about his situation? No, he improvised, adapted, and overcame his situation by ripping out his pocket linings and used them for gloves.
When you get into a tough situation, be it physical or financial, ask yourself one question. "What would James Bond do?" The right answer will come back: He will call up his talent at will and deliver on a deadline, just like he did in the wheel house. And that's what you will do.
Of course, we usually have a monthly challenges. So does Bond. Remember when he was trapped in Ft. Knox in Goldfinger. He not only had the ticking atomic time bomb to worry about, he had to release himself from the handcuffs, fight and subdue the karate killer Oddjob, and escape the vault IF he was able to turn off the bomb.
One again, he called up his talent at will and got the job done with only 007 seconds to spare.
Movie note: The original time was 003, but after filming the producer had the idea to have it read 007 which always got a joyous laugh in the theater. But James Bond still says in the movie, "Another THREE clicks and Goldfinger would have hit the jack pot.
