America desperately needs her radical patriots!

The American Radical

by Stephen Cafaro

I share your concerns about the radical right and also, I might add, the radical left. Having said that, I sincerely believe America needs radicals in order to combat the entrenched forces of the status quo. Don't get me wrong! I am not speaking of those who wear sheets, iron crosses or the tattooed racists. Rather, I speak of the patriot who is willing to risk all in the pursuit of a just social, economic and political environment. America is badly off track and will need those with strong and persevering ideals to correct the many maladies that infect our Country.

I have chosen to fight for American jobs and opportunity. I am convinced that our Country must restore the tens of millions of jobs that have been lost to foreigners whose only real benefit is low cost labor and dysfunctional working conditions. Through greed and corruption, our business and political leaders have endorsed the flawed concept of "free trade" even though the economic and social cost of this concept has been ruinous to American prosperity and her future prospects. The truth is America is a managed economy as opposed to a free enterprise or free market economy. In our present managed economy, the benefits flow to the few with enormous resources at the expense of the many who see their standard of living continue to decline. Unless the imbalance is corrected, America will morph into a dictatorial welfare state before descending into the ranks of the third world.

The answer is the repatriation of the jobs, factories and industries that have been outsourced to foreign countries. An economy cannot survive that is dependent on foreign products which are financed by foreign funds. It is a recipe for disaster. Americans must begin producing for their own needs if our Country is to survive as a sovereign, free and self-sufficient Nation. The job is immense and it is as old as history. It was Thomas Jefferson who warned -- "The merchant hath no country".
