A rocketship is compared to the struggles we face in our daily lives, as well as delivering a beautiful metaphor for the process of overcoming resistance to achieve the success we desire.

Although a rocket ship uses a great deal of energy to blast off into space (or to Get Started!) as soon as the ship overcomes the obstacle of gravity, it releases excess baggage that is no longer needed for its journey, and effortlessly glides to it’s destination .

In this example, gravity can be compared to the resistance of not yet having what you desire. As your thoughts dominate how hard it is to get what you want, or how much energy is involved, then the universe activates another universal law, the universal law of attraction, therefore giving you more of what you think about, and making your efforts seem so much more strained.  Gravity is simply trying to keep you grounded, with your head out of the clouds and your feet on the floor. However, by defying this law of gravity, we can soar to the new and incredible heights of our dreams and goals. So by focusing on what you want and trusting that the energy you put forth into achieving your goal will ultimately take you higher and higher, you will finally reach a point when you can sit back and enjoy the ride!
The fuel tanks that the ship releases after the launch are like the baggage that you carry throughout your life. These old beliefs and habits may have gotten you where you are today, but will no longer serve you on the journey to where you are going. So by releasing the excess, you are ultimately allowing yourself to move forward!
When the rocket ship has pushed through the struggle and released all excess baggage, it then finds a sense of silent peace, where the beauty of where it has come from, the awe of how far it has come, and the anticipation of what will happen next can be easily recognizable . Only then can this complicated, yet amazing journey be truly appreciated.
So by releasing resistance, and moving through any obstacles with the power of intention and the focus of your end result, you will ultimately arrive at a time and place where you yourself can finally drop the baggage, enjoy the journey, and glide effortlessly to your destination.
