Dear Mr. Obama...

We seem to have a Harvard Grad in the White House that does not understand the meaning of the word compromise,
So, as a wordsmith I feel compelled to educate him.
Webster’s Dictionary defines the word,
Compromise:
Part of Speech Definition Noun 1. A middle way between two extremes.[Wordnet]
2. An accommodation in which both sides make concessions; "the newly elected congressmen rejected a compromise because they considered it `business as usual'".[Wordnet]
3. A mutual agreement to refer matters in dispute to the decision of arbitrators.[Websters]
4. A settlement by arbitration or by mutual consent reached by concession on both sides; a reciprocal abatement of extreme demands or rights, resulting in an agreement.[Websters]
5. A committal to something derogatory or objectionable; a prejudicial concession; a surrender; as, a compromise of character or right.[Websters].
]

Please take care to read and re-read the definitions above.
At no point does the word compromise mean that he should get everything he wants.
At what point in time did we become a dictatorship?

The President of the United States of America is ELECTED to SERVE! Not just one group of people but ALL the citizens of the United States.
As a servant, he is our employee.
Yes, the “leader” of this country, but that does not give him unconditional power!
HE DOES answer to us!

Ask yourself this question.
If Mr. Obama was a conservative Republican President and the country was at this impasse, would the Democratic led Senate STILL demand that he get his way and continue on this path to destruction and financial ruin?

We know the answer. Of course they wouldn’t.
Why is it that with liberals, and socialist, bipartisanship means they make no concessions?
Why it that that compromise means the other guy does all the compromising?
Because of the entitlement mentality.

I am a mother. I live on a certain amount of money. I also know that I can not spend MORE THAN I HAVE!
Now I am sure that Mr. Obama, Mr. Reid and the rest of the Liberal leadership, and I use that term loosely, will survive quite nicely if they are not paid for a month or two.
After all, they are wealthy and their families will not suffer.
So here is my suggestion to those who think nothing of taking away the small amount of money that those on social security depend on to SURVIVE; the Senate, the Congress the President and the Vice President should SACRIFICE their salaries for a couple of months and pay those who have so very little!
WOW! That was easy!
Oh wait, Social Security has not had a cost of living increase since Mr. Obama has taken office...but the Democratic led Senate voted an 8% increase for their salaries!
Gee.. Now THAT’S COMPROMISE!!!
Do not be silent! Do not bend over and take it!
Stand up and be heard!
Flood the White House with calls from those who will suffer from this reckless and uncaring Administration!
