TO BE A GOD-FRIEND IN NEED
As the day wears on and as I have read quite a few of my Facebook friend’s posts today...and I am overwhelmed and glad to see the ‘oneness’ of the messages coming forth today. Truly all have pointed to the same issue we’re all facing as Christians. We’re a band of Christian brothers and sisters marching in the army of God. As several persons have insinuated; there is a broad consciousness of the need to come together as Christians in the raging war against the enemy/adversity and pray for those we see and/or know under the attacks of satan. There’s a strong Presence of the Holy Spirit that is clearly calling forth our whole-hearted attention and willingness to be demonstrative Christians!! So that others may hear and see the Faithfulness and the Greatness of God in the Lord’s (Jesus) Salvation.
So, Praise be to God for blessing us to be where we are...and who we are in Christ Jesus. Thank You Lord, for fulfilling our hearts and minds with Your Word. As Christians we are blessed...to be a blessing. We are “God-friends” in need! Today our words are compelling with faith and confidence; of acknowledging how much we care...by sharing such timely messages of hope... exemplifying the ever-presence of the Unconditional Love of God. For we all have our short-comings and most assuredly, we all have the same Amazing Grace and Merciful Goodness of God. His Faithfulness and Promises never cease to deliver us from the bondage and burdens of our sinful nature. We have been granted access to the Almighty Power of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ...The Burden-Barer, The Way-Maker, The Peace-Keeper, The Redeemer, who Has Overcome the world!
Yes, we as Christians are to be "Christ-Like" in our love for our sisters and brothers, who need us to “be there” and listen to them; to be heard and understood; and to be trusted with sharing their personal "struggles"...no matter what their struggles are. I am standing in agreement and in faith with all Christians, who are supporting those in need of God’s deliverance. We need to be on one accord, praying together and spending more time, outside our comfort zones, where and when we see the “need” to do so. We ought to pay more attention to 'their' pain, which is often camouflaged by anger and bitterness toward those who love them. We need not turn our face or ear... to not allow the devil to continue his rampage of terror in the homes and lives of our family, friends and those who are within our social gathering places.
Sometimes, it is just enough shown to us, (the obvious) that we should not neglect or care less. Sometimes, those we may not expect...may need us to be good “role models” of strength, patience and courage... without our knowing a whole lot of what is going on in their personal lives. We don’t always have to know every detailed occurrence of the troubles faced...but we know that satan is at the root of them all. We are to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in the awakening of each new day...because God will lead us as we follow. We’ll have a sense of our own “calling”, to those who God directs us to befriend in Godliness. We see them every day, in the same places, and we may even work, and/or live near to those that are in need, that we can reach out and touch; and feel their need of a “God-send” friend. We (Christians) know that we are to take up the Cross and follow Him (Christ)...as He leads us into the mission-fields and troubled waters of our surroundings. We have work to do, for the Glory of God through Christ Jesus. We must Stand Firm in Faith, Fight and Pray...through all adversity. It is not an easy mission, but it is our Joy and Hope that endures to the fulfillment of God’s Promises.
As Christians we know that those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken! (Psalm 125:1). We pray on...we fight on....we are Far More Greater! FOR CHRIST JESUS IS WITH US... THROUGH IT ALL...We Have the Victory!! We are Grateful to be called by God and to be God-Friends in need! To God Is the Glory!!!
