Stand up! Step out!! Be BOLD!!!
As a Christian, I'm striving to be bold! Bold in standing firm in my testimony about Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The name of Jesus seems to be diminishing in our society . . . It's our responsibility to proclaim and share His message. It all comes down to 'HOW BOLD ARE WE'!
Yesterday I read a Christian newspaper that covered over a hundred and fifty churches, their news, upcoming events and programs. Sadly out of 28 pages, I only found one article about Jesus! It was a wonderful article planted on next to the last page. The mention of God was throughout the paper, but without proclaiming Phillippians 2: 9-11 that says:
9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Should this not be the focus of everything CHRISTIAN? Recently I reviewed many church websites Home Pages thinking surely their priority will be Jesus, but unfortunately less than 15% had any reference to Jesus on their main page. Wow, amazing, we are talking about the Name about all NAMES! I sent emails requesting they consider re-assessing their Home Page to make sure that Jesus Christ a priority!
So BOLD, we must become!
