This is how I get through the day
HOW I GET THROUGH THE DAY
I know what you're doing. Living day to day. Figuring out what is the next move. How will I make it through tomorrow? Next... tomorrow comes and somehow you get through it. You've been doing this forever it seems, but try to think back...some good things have happened that pulled you narrowly through the rough periods. Some small things happened. Notice them. Make a game of it. Live is just a really complex game. Sometimes you're winning and other times you're losing. You must be really good to have made it this far. That has been no slight feat. I know that it's really hard but when you're losing, figure out your best move and just say "Oh well...it's just a game" then make your move. I know that this may sound shallow but I've had some tumultuous times in my life and needed help...and was too embarrassed to ask for it. I just said to myself "Hey, play the game. It's your move. Everybody is playing the same game anyway so don't worry about it." I'm telling you that this relieved a lot of stress and whether this was fantasy or not it helped me a lot. Even now when I have a situation that is uncomfortable I 'Play the Game'....Play the Game.
