Createspace and Kindle
After a whistelstop tour of the US (Newark, New York, Milwaukee, Washingon DC, New York, Newark, home) in 4 days, Ive finally got round to completing my last proof read of Stags! (for now). Managed to upload everything to Createspace and I have ordered a proof - could take up to three weeks to be delivered. I also have to sort out the US tax forms so that I don't get charged 30% on royalties (optimistic to expect royalties, I know!).
In the meantime Ive also looked at publishing on Kindle, and this was much quicker, if a little complicated. The complications are mainly technical, formatting the book and ensuring the html views ok. Fortunately I work in IT so I am familiar with this kind of stuff, but I still cant figure out why the top line of every viewing page (which is different depending on font size) is left justfied. I have tried everything to change this but nothing seems to work. Maybe it is just the viewer.
The result of this is where a new paragraph is at the top of the page it is not indented corrcetly. Not the end of the world but I like things to be just so!
