MAGIC MAN'S MUSINGS
What I am about to write, I cannot prove. It came about as a result of inner spiritual whispers and remembering a comment I read years ago from a friend's spiritual guide. It has to do with the beginning, our origins, and how we came to be. It all centers around the question of WHY.
Why is a perfectly normal reaction about something when we feel we don't know or are confused. In this context, however, we are talking about beings that were existing in a state of elevated awareness who were fully aware of who they were. Still WHY was asked, and an explosion resulted, an explosion of consciousness that trickled down into various forms of manifestation. The question of WHY, by its very nature, is almost an affront to that which is. It implies an unrest and a hunger to discover more. There is always a price to pay when you ask WHY.
The price, in this case, was the evolution of the mind. A being that knows themself cannot question WHY, because they already know themself. So, a fracturing has to occur, or a break off from true knowing. An artificial existence was created, where mind and thought could explore, create, and try to discover the meaning of life or the existence of the universe. The memory of our previous existence lived in our feelings for some time, but gradually as the mind became attached to thought, that memory faded and a series of digressions occurred, as what was once true to us became nothing more than a series of fables.
Guilt entered into our consciousness as we fought to return to the former state of innocence, but we could not remember our way back home. Our identity had shifted so far into our thoughts that we could not remember who we were in our feelings anymore. Caught by the mind's trap to keep itself in charge, guilt was created to seal the division between mind and heart. Guilt is the way the ego punishes us unconsciously so we will feel we are unworthy of existence or fullness of life. It keeps its power and place in us by making us feel we have done something wrong and we do not deserve to feel right again.
Condemnation grew over time as we lived with guilt and tried to make the best of the prison guilt placed us in. Forgetting the truth, we began to create stories of the fall, and Adam and Eve, to explain as best as possible how our situation began. It was an attempt to keep in memory what the ego and mind could not know by experience anymore. Mankind began to turn away from its knowing of existence and created false representations of reality in religion, politics and government. Trust within had eroded so far, that mankind felt lost and began to explore physical reality in an attempt to hopefully find a door or way back to our former state. Parts of us wanted to die and, therefore, death was created by the mind and ego to prevent our return and keep us in bondage to this world. The will to control and power evolved from this as the ego or mind fought to stay in control, but deep inside, humanity still had a glimmer and a memory of what once was.
The further mankind evolved in mind and thought, the deeper the schism between feelings and mind became. It was not enough for guilt and condemnation to bridle the spirit of man; something else was needed to seal us to this world to forever forget our divine heritage. Fear was created upon the seeds of guilt and condemnation. The WHY that had begun the journey into matter and could not find the answer had evolved to a point of desperation. In that desperation, it realized one thing -- it would never find the answer this way. It had reached a point where it knew it could go no further.
Amnesia evolved out of the fear, as mind could not tolerate fear and ego was too proud to admit it. Ego and Mind decided to forget, repress or bury what WHY had discovered and began to invent ways to cope. Coping is what man has done for thousands of years and beyond. Fear, guilt and condemnation created an illusion in the mind and ego of mankind, and what has evolved is a world still searching for the soul it lost somewhere back in eternity. People have become as machines and robots to systems and ideas. Still deep inside, a hunger still lurks. The question that started it all is still there and so is the distant memory of something more ... the WHY.
