Enemies of Love

MAGIC OF LOVE AND INTIMACY
Ego and mind are the enemies of love. They constantly compare, judge and seek to fill an imaginary void. Even when we're in love, they creep in and seek to dilute affection, intimacy and passion by taking unconscious experiences or pains and placing them into consciousness. These germs or viruses try and deceive us by concealing our true deep feelings of love. They betray what we know through our feelings and strive to make us identify with lies.
Every relationship, no matter how loving, has the challenges of these vices of mind and ego. Thoughts of doubt, jealousy, imagined hurts, perceptions tarnished through unconscious pain all corrupt feelings of love, because the mind is trying to gain control. Real love purifies perceptions, destroys illusions, and makes us unify our affections. Real love solidly grounds us in a relationship which is seeking fulfillment. You cannot love with all your heart, if your mind is cheating, lying,deceiving and betraying you or your lover. You cannot allow the love in your heart to migrates to the mind's arena.
It may not be a conscious intention, but unconscious and hidden by the ego, this is a resistance to surrender to love. Still there is fear that if you do, you will lose something of value, this value being the ego telling you that to surrender completely is to lose control. Control is the last hold the mind and ego have over you. Beyond that is Love and nothing more exists or prevents your completion into wholeness.
