Holidays, Love and Blessings

Thanksgiving has come and gone, yet the love and gratefulness for my blessings remain in my heart.
I am most grateful for the people in my life.
As Christmas approaches I think of Jesus, his birth and his life to save us. He has blessed me with much, and specially this time of year I go back to read my poem piece "Happy Birthday Jesus".
The New Year will be here shortly. 2008 has been a tough year for most of us, and a lot worse for many. I pray for God's guidance to help those in power, to help the rest of us. I know the word has gone out that it is suppose to get worse before it gets better. Saying things like that just creates fear and peole do things and don't do things that could turn the economy around quicker.
I honestly believe that if the words were changed - that we could keep saying "It is going to get better" and hold that knowledge inside of us be keep joyful even during this time...then I know it will start to get better.
Ah! 2009, I look forward to all the wonderful blessings yet to come.
