CHURCH...WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO ME.

church means something to me and I thought I`d take a few moments and let you know what I think....OK?
Greetings everyone,
if you have been following my blog, you will see that I have written about some of the things that are important to me.. Doing the right thing, editing, miracles, and spacing. Now I'd like to tell you a little bit about church. That's important to me also.
Church means a lot to me; I've been going there since I was five years old. Now I'm almost 58. What does church me to me? It means a building, but way more than that; serenity and peace, that peace I know through my higher power; people, those that care very deeply about you because of who you are inside, not your job or how much money you make.
I could go on and on. I have some wonderful memories over the years and I've made some wonderful friends that I could never replace.
Church for me is singing praises to God with all my heart and soul. I love that dearly and I wish that other people felt just like me. But I know that we are all different and we all have different talents, hopefully we use them for good.
Church is a happy place and a sad place. New people come and old people go. Old people go but we wish they could stay, who are we to determine that?
Church keeps me grounded; it has helped me to learn what it means to do the right thing in everything I do. It has helped me to think about others before myself. It has helped me to realize the value of friendship and the special bond that only we have through what we believe in.
I don't expect you to believe what I believe in and I am not preaching. Please forgive me if it appears that way. I only hope that this small blog has given you something to think about. In everything you do, may your God bless you.
