Maxx resting

Maxx needed to rest
Pat, Maxx's trainer, rode him on Thursday. He did great, but had a cough - which is unusual - at the end of the lesson. Ellen thought he needed to take it easy for a few days. Tomorrow she will ride him unless he has a temperature, a cough, or any signs of illness. He seems to be perky and ready to go.
Today he was turned out, then had his left hind leg wrapped as usual, and put into his stall to eat lunch. Maxx gets a bowl full of carrots, flax seed, and, of course, cheerios. He stands at the stall door and stares at us if the cheerios aren't in the mixture!!!
Ellen is trying to get ready for a recognized dressage show January 21-22. Tomorrow if he seems his usual self we will start getting show ready.
