The Situation in the Middle East
3/14/2011 5:29:11 AM    [ Flag as Inappropriate ]

What we are NOT doing there . . .
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by the lack of action on the part of Barack Obama in the Middle East. When people started to protest in Iran some time back, he did nothing to help them. He stuck his nose into the events in Egypt but is saying very little about what's happening in Libya (other than platitudes). Now, I have no love for Mubarak, but he was working with us and helped keep the peace in Israel. The regimes in Iran and Libya, however, are vile and, especially in the case of Iran, represent a major threat to peace in the area (not to mention sponsorship of terrorism). So why Mubarak but not Ahmadinejad or Qadafi?

Obama's foreign policy, is such it can be called, is damaging rather than helping America's interests in the world. Combined with his total mismanagement of our fragile economy, I have to conclude Obama is the worst president in American history, bar none.

Right now, it looks as though he will be defeated in a major landslide in November 2012. I hope and pray that
is exactly what happens. I also hope the damage this man is causing to our nation can be reversed.

I wish the election were being held tomorrow.
