The Sleuthing Principle
3/29/2009 5:32:04 PM
'Castle' and 'Wild Violets' have this in common:
All right...I have been able to watch a bit of the new series, titled 'Castle,' in which a lady cop and a mystery author of fame team up. The premise is cute, the characters are likeable, the plots are simple, and the chemistry between him and her works...she's a bit too serious, he has fits of mirth and quirkiness...the dialogue is not bad...moreover, at least there Is dialogue...

So, all in all, I am not disappointed. One aspect of this show, however, has really made me happy: the creator/writer has gone back to the Principle of Good Sleuthing...yes, indeed.

It is precisely the factor I have used in The Any Agency: Wild Violets...my lady detective relies on her observations and on logic...it's always in the details, she knows as she solves the mysteries.

Good for the viewers -- and if you're so inclined, good for you when you become my reader. :)))

Gina

Well, I'm not the one to toot my own horn...my readers and critics have done so for me. "Wow!" has been the reaction I've received most often. What more could I wish for than to know I've vowed my most appreciative readers. (Thank you!)
