The Sleuthing Principle 3/29/2009 5:32:04 PM 'Castle' and 'Wild Violets' have this in common: All right...I have been able to watch a bit of the new series, titled 'Castle,' in which a lady cop and a mystery author of fame team up. The premise is cute, the characters are likeable, the plots are simple, and the chemistry between him and her works...she's a bit too serious, he has fits of mirth and quirkiness...the dialogue is not bad...moreover, at least there Is dialogue...
So, all in all, I am not disappointed. One aspect of this show, however, has really made me happy: the creator/writer has gone back to the Principle of Good Sleuthing...yes, indeed.
It is precisely the factor I have used in The Any Agency: Wild Violets...my lady detective relies on her observations and on logic...it's always in the details, she knows as she solves the mysteries.
Good for the viewers -- and if you're so inclined, good for you when you become my reader. :)))

Well, I'm not the one to toot my own horn...my readers and critics have done so for me. "Wow!" has been the reaction I've received most often. What more could I wish for than to know I've vowed my most appreciative readers. (Thank you!)
