It is raining boots...
Listening to the oldies on the radio, I heard a funny one: "Hallelujah, it's raining men..."

How many does one need?

Well, it has been raining literally all night and figuratively for years at my end of this world we call home grounds.

You know the saying...waiting for the other shoe to drop...in my case I finally realized they were not shoes or pairs thereof, they were boots..heavy clonkers! Not just matching pairs either...

The latest, fresh from the skies:

This morning I bit on something hard and POP! an eye tooth broke off at the root...here I sit waiting to go to the dentist who had just put a new filling into that tooth a mere week ago. There's nothing left but a hollow in the root...it would appear I'll look just how I feel: a hapless old hag? a witch? a poor sweetie? ahem...

I lost a large upper tooth about three years ago when a solid silver tooth finally bit the dust and needed to be pulled. The gap there remained open because I won't and can't have an implant and I didn't yet want a small 'training' patial or a bridge...so now I have a gap, one tooth, and another gap...call me Cutie, please.

What am I getting at?

There needs to be an invention!

No metal parts drilled into the jaw, no wires wrapped round fragile teeth, no 'bridges that require teeth to be crowned as anchors...I just need two fake teeth placed into two black looking gaps...or...I just won't laugh anymore...not really a hardship.

One can get used to a lot...almost everything.

So, I don't shout hallelujah about men (at least I haven't come to that point yet ;), but I would shout hallelujah if my broken tooth could be cemented back in place...

Hang in there with me? no matter what your particular boots' clonking means.

Gina
