A Reminder . . . You Have Choices

Just a reminder for you to choose to be kind to yourself and others and treat yourself to the joys of happiness.
Today is your day. You can do anything that you want to with it.
Remember today and every day that you have choices.
For instance-
. . . if someone comes up and slaps the crap out of you- you can decide how to react.
You can laugh, cry, be angry, or anything that you choose to do. You can even choose to do nothing at all, and forget about it.
We have very little control over anything in this life. Seems like the only thing that we really have control over is what we think, what we say, how we react and what we do about it, and how we feel when you consider outside influences and effects. Therefore we must never pass up an opportunity to be happy joyous and free.
We teach by example. Any time we are looked upon with care and respect we are likely to be an example to other people. Students. Children. Our searching and yearning friends. Why not take advantage of the opportunity to inspire people to enjoy life?
I decided to have cheesecake and white zinfandel for breakfast. I am going to do some writing today. I hope that all of my writers friends choose to make the time to do the same today. Choose to be happy and enjoy your day.
I'm turning off my cell phone and preparing for self indulgence. I'm going to treat myself good today.
