Mary Magdalene is a topic that everyone seems to have an opinion about...I have written the first book of a series about her life entitled The Magdalene Chronicles.  Book One is Followers of the Magdalene. The next in the series is entitled Far Memory and deals with genetic memory. Thing is, I have had some really strange reactions to this first book. Most people can't wait for the next one..I was tricky so it definitely leads up to number two. Of course, I have put a lot of information that I have gathered over the 35 or so years that I have been working on this saga. I was a language major in college in the 60's (no, not an acid trip) and got so interested in religions that I ended up with a double major...Languages and Philosophy/Religion. I was mesmerized even then by the rumors and myths surrounding the life and unknown life of Jesus and also Mary Magdalene. It seemed to me I almost had been there. As I began to write the first book I found that it seemed to almost write itself. Was I channeling MM? I don't think so...Is it a genetic memory? Who knows....but somehow I knew what to write but couldn't tell you what was going to happen next until I typed it out.

Now I am getting weird feedback. Not anyone saying I am blaspheming (cause after all it's a BOOK.....get it, FICTION) but people emailing me and saying they are descendants of MM or Jesus or had visions or whatever. OMIGOD!What next? the Vatican hit squad?  Isn't it funny that Dan Brown's blockbuster the DaVinci Code was 3 years ago? Where is the Solomon Key we have been waiting for so long? Who scared this great novelist off?

And then there is the Mormon factor.  WOW.  Did you know that Joseph Smith thought he was actually a descendant of Jesus and that he could prove it? Did you know that there are doctrines in the Mormon Church that only the highest in the leadership have access to and that they have a plan to lead the righteous back to the Holy Land as the Chosen People.  Are we about to launch something soon? What is going on?

Online you can find all sorts of people claiming to be part of the desposyni (family bloodline of Jesus).  Now, I don't know about you but if I were really one of the bloodline I would be keeping my head low and my mouth shut. Am I wrong? Anyone know anyone who is one? Is it dinner table conversation?

Hey, Guys, my gggrandfather was King of Wurttemberg (a little country in Prussia that got swallowed up by Poland, Russia and other assorted places) but my daddy told me all the so-called royal blood would do was give me a headache.  GGGrandaddy came to America and became a BAKER. Only My Aunt Ella Mae thought it was important to "BE SOMEONE".  I think the bloodline will be secret until it is time for the end of the world. Then MAYBE, if the person is brave and has a true heart (like Launcelot????) maybe that person will step forward and unite the world.

Until then we should look out for do gooders who claim to have our best interests at heart . Famous people that we really like and would trust with our lives could have a hidden agenda.......maybe they don't even know it....
