A raving of a lost soul?

I am still facing the same problem. Rightly or wrongly, whatever I write seems to belong in more than one category offered by the AD. Not that I am not grateful to have an opportunity to share my work with others, but it seems to me that many categories are too restrictive.
This morning I uploaded a little piece I called: What if? It is a sort of an essay but it is also a soliloquy, a musing, a wondering of mind. A meditation. In a way, it could also be a short story. I know a short story must have a plot, but in "What if" one could imagine a parent talking to a child. On the other hand, if really pushed, I could claim my effort to be a philosophical dissertation on various possibilities. Or a raving of a lost soul. Either way, it is not really an article, is it? I wonder if other writers have the same problem. If so, please, let me know. And if so, any suggestions?
