I re-posted my epic anti-Big Oil hymn of August 2008 again under poetry on my page; please read it. It was written to be an inspiring rally to drown out the din of crazed voices singing: "Drill, baby, drill" and to influence the 2008 election. TOO LATE! I fear...

"Our G.O.D, O.I.L. is the culprit not our God. And that god is spelled o.i.l. and stands for G-reedy O.il-enriched D-evils!! The ONLY and Very devils behind this unending OIL GUSH (not spill! If only it were only a spill, we be alright!)
NOTHING justifies what they did. CHENEY and BUSH allowed the Greedy Oil Devils (G.O.D.) soaked in their rush to exploited profits to continue to SOAK us and all the innocent chain of animals and plant life in the gulfstream into annihilation in a gush of oil that could have been prevented by the VERY device that THEY didn't want to spend a measely $500,000 on! That is nothing more than lunch money to these corrupted bastard devils. And the IDIOTS that continue to allow them to predate the planet with their constant anti-life hymn of "Drill, baby drill" The tune that will eventually smother all in an oily death.
And NO you won't see a lot of it at the SURFACE of the ocean; they had a plan for that, to make themselves look good. They have now soaked the poor gulf waters in chemicals just as deadly to LIFE in the sea. And spent more than $500,000 dollars on them in the process. All because they are GREEDY BASTARDS. Bigger than any lustful sin of an individual you can imagine.
And now "we" pay for it not in dollars BUT in an eventual poisoned food chain that may take a few years but will definitely WRECK economies here and worldwide, not to mention "MY" and the "REAL" God's wonderful OCEANS!!
It is not just a crime against humanity but a crime against the sanctity of LIFE and the seas that our own lives emerged from millions of years ago!
All this while the barking wimp dog the oil soaked rich have up in government in Texas, Rick Perry, whines about an "ACT OF GOD" that caused this. Right! If it was an act of God, it was His greatest mistake when He allowed his creature too much freedom without responsibility--Man. And all those who fight the turn away from the sane course of moving away from fossil fueled cars and trucks.
It may be too late for "my beloved Atlantic Ocean" -- As some of you know, I am a FLORIDIAN and though I no longer live on the coast (I moved inland in 2007) I may NEVER Surf Fish or Surf in the Atlantic again. But even IF I DO, those many 10-20 mile long x 3 mile wide and 300ft. thick oil plumes are drifting like toxic escaped driftnets under the ocean's surface. IF you know anything of biology, you know what will happen in a short time. EVEN IF some don't come ashore they will begin to absorb the oxygen until everything in the vicinity either dies or seeks to swim towards the surface (if they can!) At the surface, what remains of our dolphins, whales, sea turtles and fishes in our Florida gulfstream waters will eventually STARVE!!
YES! Because the tiny organisms that they EAT and LIVE On are dead below the surface, oxygen starved or dying in the coral reefs that are also starving for oxygen...
Good bye Florida Keys, I never really got to know you despite my 30 years in Florida! And Goodbye Dear Bahamas, I so wanted to come as soon as I made some money with my music. IT MAY NEVER HAPPEN NOW>>>
Thanks a lot Cheney, Bush and B.(bastard) P.(people) at "British Petroleum"--You suck! May your dinner be the first one that is poisoned, and may you all die a lingering death like our poor wildlife and Atlantic sea life will...
