Get Ready, Set, Go

Tomorrow is Black Friday, but in certain stores it began today. What next - Black Friday the day after Halloween?
Our house is decorated for Christmas, but I'm avoiding the stores for now. Today I prepared some dishes to take to the kids' for our Thanksgiving meal, watched two family films on TCM, and will read a bit. I thought about wrapping gifts, but decided against it. I want to pace myself this Christmas season.
I hope the crazy, frenetic pace of the holidays doesn't overwhelm and erase the spirit of the holidays for you. Pop in A Charlie Brown Christmas & enjoy Peanuts' rendition of the true meaning of Christmas. Ready, Set, Go!
