In our Western culture, God is acknowledged as the Supreme Being by most of us.This poem highlights my personal walk with and acknowledgement of God as such.

GOD IS !

God is light,

And in Him, there is nothing dark.

God is peace,

And He blesses the peacemaker.

God is joy,

And the joy of Him is my strength.

God is all that I am:

Grateful, thankful, hopeful,

Encouraging and kind.

He is all I ever hope to become:

Patient, compassionate,loving,

Forgiving,long suffering,and gentle.

God is!
