We all weather storms in our lives and feel we have nothing to gain, but just remember the Lord is there for you, gently holding you to keep you steadfast in faith.
|
Steadfast In Faith
Embrace me Lord in your loving arms,
Ease my pain and calm my storms.
Hold me gently on those sleepless nights,
Letting me know everythings alright.
Help me Lord to help others,
Fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers.
Shine your light for me to see,
What it is they ask of me.
If it's not your will to heal me Lord,
then I ask that I would be able,
To handle this pain without losing my mind,
And forever to you be greatful.

From your prayer, I believe that you are steadfast. To seek His guidance and His power, but be willing to take No for an answer, is true wisdom. This poem especially touches me, because I can identify with much of it. He is faithful, though, and our constant strength.
