People say
that telling a stranger
of your problems
is a good thing
Most probably
because they are an outsider
and offer a pure, unbiased opinion
But what if you tell them
and you don't expect an opinion
Is it because they tend to listen
Because their facial language
tells their real reaction to your pain
So well
So truly
Because even if they don't offer an opinion
they are the outside
And we talk to them
because the prospect ofthem being outside the problem
offers hope that we can get outside of the problem
Away from it
Unknown to it
I told the about my heartbreak
I told anohter about my family
All of these people within a small community
Is this to be my outside
Are these people to be my new community
My new family
Some say
-ecspecially the young ones
that if you tell a stranger
a stranger will tell
The story may change
It would be unnatural if it didn't
Chineese Whispers
It would spread
I would be known
by ill and incorrect reputation
But even if they did spread it
- which I doubt they would
I wouldn't really care
Not fr this
Because it is a certain step
away from the lonliness/the hurt and damage
A certain step
away from pain
And into life

Cassie, very nice thoughts written in these lines. The truth lies in what one believes to be true for them, as everyone is different and so are those you confide in.
