Never too far from hope, from God, from life.

Penny Meacahm-Cornelius-3-20-07
sing – “Why should I be discouraged, and why should the shadows fall, why must my heart feel lonely …and long for my heavenly home?”
Can you remember?
It’s the music you hear
but not thru your ears..?
Humming thru your head
during twilight sleep
just before you get out of bed
Saying - it’s aaall good today
come whatever may
‘spite our living in a desolate land
daily beating back disillusionment
…as much as one can
To tackle what our karma demands
it’s the tide motions
when you walk,
the tonal healing
when you talk
the symbols burning deep in your palms
The echos that surround you, 91st psalms
Your glowing colors that encourage
“onward go!”
In spite of the dry tears
and quiet despair you bemoan
Just ‘cause Love said – not so!
Never alone
It’s the unseen Divinities
playing in your hair,
so you’ll re-call your favorite book
“Life Is a Gift”
though long neglected and threadbare
 In the wee hours
it’s little wet Angel kisses
dabbed on your forehead and heart
sharing your pain,
urging “a new day, another start!”
reviving with sprinkles of mockingbird herbs
and from pink bunny spice jars,
NO, never too far
every day
the sun,
silent yet sweetly shines
to awaken your memories
all roads lead to Love
and you already are
Native Daugher
