Prophet, Priest and King: A novel of King Solomon by John Ho
by John Howard Reid

King Solomon is often equated with wisdom, but, out of kilter with popular belief, the Bible does not always portray him as wise and good. Quite the contrary!..

this was written back in nov of 2002. unfortunately, stupid me decided to wash my clothes with the poem in a pocket. so it got torn up. luckily i was able to decipher what some of the poem said and recreated it.

Today is Grandma's birthday
There's a party at the grave
It's going to be hard
So I may not stay

There will be cake
And there will be ice cream
There will be balloons
Who will let me scream?

Birthdays are supposed to be happy
But this one is going to be say
My Grandma's not here to celebrate
And that makes me so mad

I know she's up in Heaven
And everything is going to be fine
I do know she's watching us
And having a good ol' time

I guess the says are right
"The good often die young"
And another one says
"Some heroes are unsung"
