STOPPING TO SMELL THE ROSES
I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND
THE STAIRWAY TO YOUR DREAMS

THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE

I am very frustrated right now, I have been working on finishing a children's book manuscript, but I am having the worst time completing it. Usually, the words fall of my mind right unto the paper. I thought I would write about my frustration in the hope of shaking things up a little. We will see!
Like a caged animal my thoughts are all bound up
I can’t seem to shake this feeling of entrapment
I have spent day and night trying to get out of this funk
my mind is screaming let me be, but I am too obstinate
too strong willed to let her win over my desire to let my muse flow
My muse, my muse where are you? Why have you left me in a squander?
I must find a way to bring you back, you use to flow out of me so easily, what happened?
muse, muse I beg of you, won’t you please come back even for just a moment!
MUSE ARE YOU THERE?

|MY DEAR SISTER, NICOLE, OUR MUSE IS GOD AND HE 'NEVER' LEAVES US. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN WE MIGHT NOT HEAR HIS VOICE BUT A SINCERE PRAYER USUALLY TAKES CARE OF THAT AND IF NOT, THEN HE HAS CHOSEN TO BE SILENT AND WE MUST WAIT. I HAVE FOUND THAT THIS NOT A BAD THING BECAUSE THE WORDS SAYS, 'ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD....', AS EVIDENCED BY THIS 'GOOD' WORK. EVEN WHEN A POET THINKS THEY ARE SAYING NOTHING...THEY ARE SAYING A WHOLE LOT. SO HANG IN THERE AND BE PATIENT, REMEMBER...HIS TIME IS NOT OUR TIME. THANKS FOR SHARING, LOVE AND BLESSINGS, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS|

|It seems to me that you are describing what many writers experience, Nicole; it is "writers' block." I do hope your muse comes back very soon. Love, peace, and best wishes to you, mon amie,
