The Sounds of Christmas: A Message of Hope

The shuffling of feet as shoppers hurry home with their presents, decorations and bows;

Each with a deadline to accomplish so many things--everyone knows.

Songs of so many loved Christmas carols linger in the air;

Memories of loved ones gone, but remain in our hearts will always be there.

Voices and laughter shared with family and friends;

Enjoying the season's celebration which will soon end.

But the message is still the same from so long ago;

God gave us a special gift--His Son because He loves us so.

Melody,
Christmas will come again very soon. I stopped to read your bio and noticed this poem, it caught my attention and I enjoyed recapturing the spirit of Christmas and its many meanings, but one remains central "He Came".
Gods Peace,
Thurman

Christmas takes time each year to get here. Preparations take time, but it is the real reason for the season to celebrate, and that is God's special Gift, his son to save us from our sins. Enjoy the christmas season but remember others are needful too and don't try to outdo others, Just be sensible in your celebrations. Give some people breaks and they;ll thank you for it.
