...a song I just wrote.

Well i've been in this world a while now,

The last memories of youth fade away,

i put away the ways of a child now,

Start searching for truth,

Hoping to turn night to day,

Hoping to turn night to day;

The road set before me is winding,

The sun sets, the shadows have grown,

Slowly I realize I'm finding,

Why they say you can never go back home,

They say you can never go back home;

All things are sown in their season,

The bounty we reap harvest day,

Be mindful of all you've been given,

it's been given for reasons,

And all can be taken away,

All can be taken away;

So i'm standing on a mountain,

Bridge between earth and sky,

All boundaries I have forsaken,

As I spread my wings and fly;

My eyes go blind as i stare right into the sun

And I'm falling down,

Falling down;

Crash down in darkness i can't find the sun

Can't see the light,

And i hear no sound,

There is no sound;

Then a thousand trumpets sound

The wisdom of an age

The light comes shining down

And I can finally see my cage,

like a phoenix i can rise up

From the ashes of my days,

And i can live again,

i can be free again;

haven't been in this world very long now,

Memories of youth I've yet to make,

But i have the wisdom of a child now,

i've found my way home,

I know what's true ,

And that's something you can't take away
