As I sing your great praises oh God,
I realize that there is no other one in all the universe
that I could sing praises to.
For You oh Lord are the one and only,
all power that governs all of heaven and earth.
You oh Lord are the means by which we live.
You are the one who determines when it is time for us to die.
Even when we have unforeseen circumstances,
it has been you who has determined
the exact time we are to end out time here on earth.
We thank you for the days we spend here and
pray that we would be able to live them
as you would have us to live them.
Doing for others,
being unselfish,
loving our families and
most of all worshipping your name.
We falter so many times,
we slip and fall so often,
but your hand is always there to hold us and
help us to get up again.
We commit sins over and over,
but you are always there to remind us of
sinful ways and as we ask forgiveness
you are there to help us start over again.
Stay with us oh Lord.
Keep us safe in your arms and
as we age,
continue to help us live as you would and
only you would protect us.
Teach us to guard our bodies,
keep them healthy and
not abuse them by putting things in them that we shouldn't.
Thank you for the many days you have given us,
the children and grandchildren we have and
also our great grands.
We are so grateful for al your many many blessings.
We love you very much.
