This is a sincere appeal to all of you for the lives of so many Snow Leopards in the world......;

Over the mountain ledge

Down low she creeps

Towards the grazing prey

Watch out Blue Sheep!

With growl and a claw

she springs upon her unlucky prey

The poor Blue Sheep has no time to escape!

Satisfied with a meal

Fit for a queen

She sits still and melts into the mountains

Not again to be seen.

But on her behalf

I pray to thee

That you will spare her life

And let her roam free.......................

This is very beautiful. Like the style a lot. It shows the snow leopard at her most impressive, a good moment to be chosen for the poem: the animal's grace, majesty and free spirit condensed into the moment of catching her prey, with the appeal coming as the picture fades out. That's an apt treatment of the subject.

A most apt, timely, and meaningful write and plea, Sanjana. Thank you for sharing your verses and thoughts. Love and peace to you,
