bitter with life, loss and suffering, but the struggle makes it beautiful too. Anyone thinking outside of the box, is looked at a little odd out there.

Footprints of the journey are left wandering aimlessly looking for direction
It is our will to survive though the feet are calloused and aching we keep on
Faith for a reason or the will to succeed life less the defeat is a victory
Wings expand inhaled with air although the breath may become extinct
Tattered dreams worn sails near the horizon rolling in with high tide
Small children crack a smile at human misfortune despite innocence
Womens hands of steel live subsidized lives because of corrupt men
The bible is no longer the best seller poetry is mute turn up the volume
Distractions of need material self worth the form of a pill empty wallet

Solace in the crisp air of morning and new day traffic silent sun peeking
And we call dandelions weeds reflecting a little color back to creation
Standing still lungs expanding in love with blue skies and changes.

Wrinkles outline a map of vacations past while deteriorating minds sleep
Photographic imprints the soul mourns the missing the untouchable
Dreams clouded pocket of luck empty rainbows hidden in the dark
These are things that brought wealth sharing a face winning a race
Greed never subsides will work for food as millions tighten the belt
What is mine is mine never yours so they sleep underneath the feet
Crushing hearts guilt winks facing toward the goal ignorance priceless
One for all load the docks sacrifice the young never come home oil goes up

Metal on metal night falls dust blows ears clogged blinded by deceit
And they still believe blood lips bones buried beneath pissing in a hole
Empty gaze looking for distant light hope that tomorrow will be worth a fight

Life is…
Life was…
Dangerous to think outside of the box.

My Dear,

I have read some amazings things you have written and yet you join a site and withhold some of the best. This is nothing like your typical style, though I find it curious coming from you.

Where is the true, heart breaking, romantic cynical words that ever flow so elequently from your pen. Please post and give people a glimpse at what you are made of. Interpretation comes in many forms, let people openly do so.

You amaze and inspire me; how life is more fullfilling being able to know and read your emotions. All the best and will check back often. POST!
