Let's see if you guess what it's about

TEMPTATION

So very near and yet so far
Just out of reach for me
My eyes devour
My fingers itch
I long to touch
I long to taste
My stomach churns
My passion burns
I cringe in fear
Will I resist
Or give in to temptation?
What shall I do?
My knees are weak
Tears rolling down my hollow cheek
Lost even weight
Resisting vile temptation
Desire flares
But it’s not mine
My friend holds tightly on
Yet I can’t fight
I need to have
My object of desire
I lunge
I grab
I pull it close
I give in to temptation!
Release is flooding
Through my soul

As finally I get to taste

Sweet kisses on my lips
Oh bliss, oh joy
My every nerve
Is trembling with excitement
As finally I can devour
Jane´s glistening  chocolate ice cream.!!!

I'm not a poet. Oh, how you mislead with picture that doesn't churn into the frosty treat. My mystic being must have a hole in the clouds. But I enjoyed the journey.

Can I help it if someone coming to my workplace brings us fresh homemade apple pie?
We must show our appreciation by digging in with gusto.
:)
Much enjoyed.
