Don't cry for me when I am gone, I have been here too long My life has been blessed now it is time to rest hopes and dreams have been done Things for me I have won, sent me flowers when I am alive I have survived Fortune and fame was not for me, but I was busy as a bee Now it is time to see the light, I will make this flight Happy not sad I am ready to go not mad Smile and say I did my job on earth I showed my love when I gave birth Six wonderful children who grew up to be lovely and happy as you can see No tears should be shed when I am laid into th bed I know my Lord is waiting for me, He told me just wait and see I will unite with my long gone family Mary J.
