After witnessing my first loves suicide.
I was left with the questioned that can never get answered, "Why?" Once again after a good friend took his life I was left asking Why? |

"Why?"
2001
I awoke one morning, before the dawn.
Escaping the outside world, with my headphones on.
Across the waves, I hear of more doom, another of Gods roses, had snapped before coming to full bloom.
This one was to leave me feeling more torn, it was my friend, David T. Osborn.
" Why?" I ask that great man above. Why dear God, he's got three babies who need and cherish his love.
"Why?" there was that question from many years that had passed. That question that seems to always get asked, though a question that never true ly comes to pass.
David, I know you were so very tired and just wanted to sleep, just looking for a place where your crying heart could weep.
and though I believe he made it to that great star in the sky, where our souls go to eternally fly.
Please let this be a lesson for all to learn, when thoughts of suicide are concerned.
That no matter how far the end of the road may seem, there's always a light at the end that shines bright with dream.
Amen
