When life hits you hard

 Light rain falls upon me
Hits my armor without a sound.
I am exhausted to fight again
Sight from the how the war begin
For every breath taken
For every moment your words were spoken
For every heartbeat of heat and passion
For filling me with romance, the love, the stars and the moon...
Only my armor holds me up now.

I look up to the sky
Let the rain hide my tears and I take my moment to cry.
I am not proud for what I did
But there are no bloods on my hands.
Your written words is all that I have
I hold under my wings for those I care.

When you are not my friend you are
my enemy to my heart, soul and mind.
When you attack my heart I will lose my mind
If you take my soul, my heart will be empty.
If you kill my mind you unleash my rage.

I loved, hunted and protected
All to show me worthy you and accepted
But you hide and turned cold
starting attacking me
from behind a brick wall
I am not to blame for the worlds stupidity
I am not to pay for another persons insanity
You hold me responsible still
I had to fight but I lost my will

The light rain falls upon me
Hits my armor without a sound
I look over the fields to the forest
The sunlights break through glows the trees
I feel it is calling for me
I look back to see if you are here
but on the road you left me there.
I undress my self to the
Hoping to be accepted just being me
My heart is tiered and on a slow beat
The light rain drains my hair
and wash away what seems unfair.
I have nowhere I want to be
I run straight into the forest to be free

I look over the fields to the forest
The sunlights break through glows the trees
I feel it is calling for me

I love these verses and the whole poem expresses meaning and emotions to which I can relate. I can sense the longing; in fact, I feel intimate with it. Very well done, Angelica. Thank you for sharing. I hope you are doing well. Love and best wishes to you,

I find your poem incredibly sad. Crying for help. Something is troubling you very deeply and your words show it. I hope by your writing you can get past the pain and run freely out of the woods into a sunlit opening where nature and the light rain can envelop you with joy.

This is a very haunting tale told with skill and care.
Your repeating theme captures a mood that most of us know
but few are able to put into words. Very well done, Angelica.

I, too, have spent much time in the forest seeking freedom and peace.
The solitude and quality of the air is like an emotional/spiritual elixir for us.
"Light rain falls upon me
Hits my armor without a sound."
Beautiful imagery throughout; this especially. Good work. Enjoyed.
