A funny poem about an annoying cricket.
There was a cricket in the thicket singing a merry song,.
To the cricket in the thicket “I wish that thee were gone“.
Thee said to me “Soon I will be, for winter comes fore long“.
Then hopped away in misery, for all his cheer was gone.
For the cricket in the thicket I felt very sad.
For what I had said to him I felt very bad.
So I grabbed a box, filled it with rocks and scooped him right on in, let him winter in house so he’ll see spring again.
Now every day and every night he sings a merry tune, and I remain sleep deprived.
I hope that spring comes soon!

|So funny. I wrote a nature poem about Crickets and how they kiss their legs for sound. Here in the south, we go to sleep by the cricket's song and in the Orient they are nthought to be good luck to have one ein your hearth.
