Excuse me may I have a word with you..
When will we lift up our standards
and wake up?
This is a state of emergency we are
not doing the things we should be.
When will we open our eyes and show our
sons and daughter the way to go.

Instead of touching and agreeing that
our sons and daughter grow to be young
men and women.
We're telling them to make it do what it do.
Why have you, we, have given up on
our children.
Why are so many tears piled up so drastically in their eyes?
Why haven't we taken out the time to find out what is, are or was the problem that were troubling them?
When our sons and daughters ask to talk you, or we say I don't have time take a walk we will discuss it later.

We wonder why the population of our sons and daughters are so strong on the streets.
Well let me tell you why!
It's because we have taken prayers out of schools, homes, and letting our children disrespect us as parents, mentors, and role models..
It's truly ashamed how we beseech and treat our children these days with no knowledge, wisdom, understanding.

Instead they leap into other things that will harm or kill them..
We show them the fancy cars, the stacks of money but never take out time to teach them the lessons of respect the things that's needed to be learned and obtained for the future.
To be honest we can't tell them what not to do if they see you walking the same path..
Save our sons and daughter let them know that they are someone special and not just a child being born into this world with no where to turn.

Excuse me did you hear what said instead of putting our sons and daughters down let's take out time
to listen it's not that hard and just listen their life's song.
It won't take long if you just take time you watching television, gossiping on the phone and just listen..
When shall our men stand up and be a guide?
When will our women stand up and drop their pride?
When will we grow up ourselves and help them be what God made them to be as they grew inside the womb?

Save our sons and daughters what has the world come to?
Believe it or not we look at our children as money bags,or just another soul lost without any retraction.
Tell me what type of dysfunctional people have we changed into?
We as parents are letting our kids do whatever they want to do.
We letting them have babies when they're just babies themselves.
We letting them disrespect each other as they refuse to see what is the real deal is about life and what all it has to offer.

Wake up everybody our sons and daughters are suffering from neglect, because we're so busy worrying about what others are doing to the point that we can't even detect the struggles that's lies dormant within our sons and daughters as they go through all the torment of them being alone with no one to talk to for strength or guidance..

We have so many of our sons and daughters resting in their eternal
resting place, jail, and homeless on the streets. When will we declare a truce and make a 911 call to God to save our sons and daughters?
There is no time for their dreams to drift but it's time for their heads
to be lifted and help them rise above it all.
Stop making them feel small and worthless but make them feel wanted and needed to achieve, and focus on their dreams for tomorrow.
Somebody Save Our Sons and Daughters..

It's ashamed how we let our hearts break over things so less tragic but yet we take no action to make them better or find ways of learning where the problem started or how to end it.
We quote scriptures and fall to our knees, please oh please!

Listen people all it takes is for you to show our sons and daughters just a little attention... Did I mention that we should take time out for our next generation and less time for ourselves.

It's to many statistics out here and not many realistic factors for our sons
and our daughters to follow. They say it takes a nation to raise the children today.
But how many generations must suffer before we realize they're in so much pain and it needs immediate attention but yet we refuse to see that the sunshine inside our sons and daughters is gone so they just let bygones be bygones and don't care what happens
to them next..

Listen people our sons and daughters are watching our every step..

Can we for once stand up as a whole and show them that the streets is not where they should belong?
Inside our awaiting arms willing and ready to change that pain they endure and place back the pleasures of love,
happiness and a peace of mind.

Can you truly say to yourself as you look in the mirror that our sons and daughters isn't worth the time of day to be saved from what is out there in the streets?
Can you truly fix your mouth to say that to our time is that precious to us and we are simply that weak to
change our sons and daughters lives for the better?

Instead of us teaching them about the right formation of life we are yet showing them that what ever direction they take that we still don't care.
Some of our men are still showing our young men how to lay hands on women and beat them because of an ego.

Majority of our women are showing our young ladies that's it's okay to get pregnant,to be misused, or preyed upon
due to their own self esteem is low.
Even through the duration of time we spend more time gossiping about things that does not concern us.
Instead we should take that same time showing our sons and daughters how to be responsible,be educated, and be respectable.
Can you imagine how powerful that generation would be?
How far will we let them go before it's too late and we’re saying our final farewells as the priest bow his head saying ashes to ashes and dust to dust.
There you go screaming oh God why? Why you take my child?
How many of our sons and daughters will perish before we decide to take a stand?.
After you've done all you can if God gave them to you then give them back to God and he will work it out.

Somebody Save our Sons and Daughters...
Please... Somebody Hear Me Out..
Somebody save not Mines,not Yours
but OUR sons and daughters...

I'm been saying much the same for years. It would be a grand start if the teachers union would care more for the children than for the political side of the school system. Passing children through grade after grade without them "earning" it is no solution. Indoctrinating them instead of teaching them is a blight on the teaching profession. A home life where parents help and support their children instead of just using school as a babysitter would be another change that would be good. I could go on and on, but I won't. Welcome to AD.
