Poem about a special someone who helped me through a very rough time in my life.

You were the angel in my life,
So many times you have held me from strife.
You gave me so much insightful light,
When things were not so bright.

I was sent an angel for a while,
For so many would have run a mile.
There you stayed to help me,
You wanted me to set me free.

The miracle in you shows,
From your head to your toes.
You are a shining star,
That whispers gently from afar.

May only love see you through,
Through the deepest depths and the darkest blue.
You are in many ways filled with pure light,
You radiate such warmth from a great height.

I was sent an angel for a while,
For so many would have run a mile.
There you stayed to help me,
You wanted me to set me free.

I wish for you great love and peace,
For all such hardships to cease.
For you are the world’s greatest treasure,
And knowing you was a pleasure.
