A time of reflection as a new day is born
Universal colors emerge from the skies
Shape-shifting clouds as yesterday dies
A spiritual knowing is felt in my soul
A renewed resolve to make my life whole

A blessing of spirit in a changing world
Imbued with a knowledge that begins to uncurl
From the wind of wisdom and the new light of peace
Establishing bliss in my soul that's complete
A mystical transition in time unmeasured
But a time that is felt and a time that is treasured

The kinship with nature and the love of the land
Contemplating with thoughts that I understand
Searching for food so that hunger may heal
Gathering the earth's bounty to make the first meal
Confusion has gone as I reach for my corn
Behold the new day, An Awakening at Dawn
