Urbansouls
walk urban streets
to urban beats that
pound like African drums

We are here
We have hope
We are one

We are urbanouls
Walking under the Sun

The pity of the inner city
Where everything is grimey
and gritty
We move methodically
and swiftly
We must be nifty because
our environment constantly
changes and stays busy

We are urbansouls

We are the times
We are the future
Our community is world wide
because of the existence of computers

Our urban way of life spans
far beyond our local areas
We have sprouted
Undoubted is our cultural hysteria

We march
We meet
We gather
We communicate
We relate
Understanding the division
of the worlds nations
Opposing wars and invasions

Here our voices
We speak loud
See our tears and concern
We are universal and proud
We pump our fists in crowds
demanding justice and equality
Not in agreement with what
the powers that be consider democracy
We are tired of the political tyranny
and hypocracy

We are urbansouls
We are unitedsouls
We are caringsouls
