here is a Halloween poem I wrote:

Are you afraid of things that go bump in the night?

If you are home alone then you're in for a fright.

Off in the distance you hear the hoot of an owl.

You think to yourself, "Oh, what was that now?"

The ghosts and goblins are coming for you.

Oh yeah, don't forget about the zombies too.

You can hear footsteps but see no one around,

You begin to sweat and your heart starts to pound.

The noises get closer, and the footsteps draw near,

You keep telling yourself, "I'm the only one here!"

If you are that scared be sure to turn on every light,

To make you feel safe on Halloween Night.

Happy Halloween!
