Really not meant for anything but the AIR

Holes in the heart, peace prevails, when you figure things out.

Resentments held captive, only make the hole larger

Why could I not figure that out, I know not...

Words probably best unsaid, they needed to get out.

My anger fades, my words were not intended to caused pain.

Please do not take heed, my selfish heart had no control.

My soul is sad,  I sent daggers to the open air, not to your heart.

I am sorry, I did not know, please forgive.

How easily our words can hurt those we care about most. Your writing well expresses the regret that follows. I especially like "Please do not take heed, my selfish heart had no control."
May all your disagreements be lovingly settled, and all your hurts dissipate into that open air.

Truly contrite and honestly open; I find your verses very compelling. Thank you for sharing, Star Fire. Love and peace,

Regis
