Walk with me
Through the many miles of suffering
This here land, Country, use to belong to me
Now its been stolen away, yet I long to be free
Free to live life and take a breath, and that
my one mistake won’t cause my death
I thirst to drink water that’s clean and disease free
Options that use to belong to me
For my children to live, be educated and fed
Instead of working, busting rocks for penny’s instead
I’ve done nothing wrong
I don’t deserve your hate
For you to have stolen my children and made them slaves
My country is rich of love, and not of the natural resources
But you’ve ignored the beautiful laughs and silenced their voices
My Country cries for you being a fool
You want to hurt me because of the God that I choose
I walk this journey and no laws I break
For my God’s Respect, you better pray that it doesn’t come late…
