I once chanced upon a random poetry challenge, the idea of which was to compose a poem based upon a stated nonsensical title. This was the somber result.

Purple pickles, green hotdogs, rainbow ladybugs:
jolly dancing wallpaper friends in a child's innocent room,
fanciful picnic pals prance and play,
to soothe the dreams of a sleepy princess...

Purple pickles, green hotdogs, rainbow ladybugs:
Mute cartoon witnesses to hard dark violation,
the stinking stealthy Evil blackening forever
one small guiltless life.

Purple pickles, green hotdogs, rainbow ladybugs:
faded hanging tatters in an old condemned house,
crumbling to forgotten dust near a gray grave
where rests, at last, the sad reclusive spinster...
