Is it guilt that makes him stay,
makes him say,
act,
show me a love that is unknown to many,
but does guilt make him stay?
Lives his life while i pass by,
but does his guilt make him stay?
Is it the unfathomable amount of doubt, and fear
that rests on my mind and soul?
Or the so called "lack of self esteem?"
I ask these questions
half expecting an answer
and half not expecting one,
maybe i'm just being a whining child,
or clingy,
or whatever you consider this...
doubtful; that's the word.
As soon as it was known
that my trust was there again,
everything fell from underneath,
i wonder always and even today;
is it guilt that makes him stay?
