Daddy Dada
    Ayara bi asa

    Osare tete gbe omo re’nija

    Baba agba ti n be
    Ki bebe to maa be

    Ajanaku ayeiraye to ba lori

    Gbogbo ibi giga
    Baba, baba
    Baba ni igbakugba
    Baba l’ojo ogunle
    Baba l’ojo iponju
    Baba olugbeja
    Baba olu-lana
    Baba, daddy, papa
    Ato gba-rale
    Ato fija fun
    Ato wari fun

    Afi-laka-laka re’bija

Makes perfect sense to me. God is often conceived as a father figure. "Baba, daddy, papa."

It's hard to comment because I don't understand Yoruba or praise any mythical gods.
