Don't Let the Stones Cry Out
T'was a time in my life when I was unfulfilled and lost;
I searched among the pleasures of this world at any cost.
Finding nothing in this world that could satisfy my soul,
Then I found Jesus who filled that empitness and made me whole.
Because he transformed me from death unto life,
Brought me forth out of my world of strife,
As I continually worship him with my praise and adoration,
I will forever be thankful for his love and this so great salvation.
When I am in the deepest valley and I don't know what to do,
I'll praise him believing he can restore and make all things new.
Or sailing along peacefully then finding myself on the stormy sea,
Keeping in mind 'tis in the storm he is in the midst of it with me.
I am forever safe in the shadow of his almighty hand,
Whether up on the mountain or deep valley in this weary land.
I am compelled to praise my Creator, Savior, and Provider above,
And never cease to forget his everlasting, abiding love.
I must praise him when things are peaceful for I surly know,
It won't be long before a crisis comes in this old world of woe.
In all things give thanks and praise, trusting him without a doubt,
Because Jesus said, "If these should hold their peace, the
stones would immediately cry out"
